The Aug. 30 paycheck is the third paycheck you will receive in August, and you may notice a few differences with your leave accruals and deductions.
Eligible employees earn their total monthly leave accruals in the first two paychecks of the month. Leave does not accrue on the third paycheck of the month.
Many of our regular deductions are deducted as monthly amounts and are taken out of the first two paychecks of the month. This means that on the third paycheck of the month, you will not see all the deductions that are usually taken out, causing your check to be higher.
However, some deductions will still be processed.
Review the list below so you know what to expect:
No Annual or Sick Leave Accruals.
