Employee Relations Committee Elections Now Open 

Employees elected from departments across the city serve on the ERC.
 Elected committee members meet regularly with the City Manager to share employee concerns and information.
 Employees elect representatives every three years from eligible regular, permanent full-time employees in a non-supervisory status in their department or unit.

Please note: If you were nominated for election to the ERC, and have not confirmed your nomination, your name will be removed from the election ballot. Those who may have voted for you will have the opportunity to submit their vote for a different candidate.

• Logon to this link: https://vote.associationvoting.com/norfolk/
• Enter your Employee ID and Last Name
• You can only vote for individuals within your assigned ERC Unit (sub-group). Follow instructions on the ballot page.
• Once you select ‘Submit’ your vote is complete

Eligibility Criteria:

To vote and be elected to serve on the Employee Relations Committee, you must be:

• In a non-supervisory status
• In a non-probationary status
• In good standing
• Active, regular, permanent full-time 

2024 Election Timeline:

• Cast Your Electronic Vote: 8 a.m. on June 18 through 5 p.m. June 25
• Winners Announced: June 27
