[ARCHIVED] 14-year-old dies following crash on E Princess Anne Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A teenager has died following a crash Wednesday night on E. Princess Anne Road.

On February 21, 2024, around 9:45 p.m., police responded to the intersection of E Princess Anne Road and Ballentine Boulevard for the report of an accident involving a bicyclist. When first responders arrived, they located a 14-year-old male suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The teenager was taken to hospital for treatment where he later died on February 22nd from his injuries.

The driver of the car involved remained at the scene. No other injuries were reported. 

This ongoing investigation is being handled by the Norfolk Police Department’s Auto Squad Unit.
