NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a late-night crash that left a man dead.
On August 16th, around 8:25 p.m., police responded to the 3500 block of Tidewater Drive for the report of an accident involving a pedestrian. When Officers arrived, they located a man suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
His identity will be released once his next-of-kin has been notified.
The driver of the car remained on scene.
