NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have arrested a 34-year-old man following a shooting on Bagnall Road.
Around 10:40 p.m. on July 11th, officers responded to the 900 block of Bagnall Road for the report of a gunshot disturbance. Soon after, police were notified of a gunshot victim outside of Norfolk General Hospital, a woman had arrived with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The preliminary investigation determined the two incidents were related.
As a result, detectives have arrested and charged Donshay H. Simpson with malicious wounding, conspiracy, use of a firearm, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and shooting from a vehicle.
Simpson is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
