AIR QUALITY HEALTH ALERT:

1. Stay indoors as much as possible.

2. If you must work outside, reduce strenuous and labor-intensive work. Take breaks indoors.

3. Listen to your doctor’s advice if you have underlying health conditions, such as asthma, that may be exacerbated.

4. Wear an N95 or P100 respirator, as needed on a voluntary basis. Employees must complete Appendix D Training for Voluntary Respirator Use prior to respirator use.

5. Be extra cautious driving and crossing streets if visibility is lower than usual.

6. Check, clean, or change filters on air conditioners and air purifiers.

7. Don’t add to air pollution indoors: avoid burning candles, using fireplaces, or frying and broiling meat.
