Juneteenth in the Park
Designated a statewide holiday in Virginia, this is Norfolk's second annual Juneteenth in the Park Festival. In 2021, this event hosted over 2,000 attendees. The festival celebrates African American heritage and serves as an opportunity to enrich and educate the community on topics ranging from healthy living, education, and financial literacy. This year, as the community is re-emerging after the pandemic, businesses will offer on-the- spot interviews, career planning, and employment opportunities.
