NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police are searching for an armed fugitive wanted for two commercial robberies.
On December 14, 2017 shortly after 5:15 p.m., police confirm Curtis Leslie Harmon (37) entered the Afro-Caribbean Grocery Store at 521 E. Little Creek Road. Harmon brandished a firearm and demanded money from the store clerk before fleeing from the area.
Two days later, on December 16, 2017, shortly before 9:30 p.m., detectives confirm Harmon entered the Hardees at 7480 Tidewater Drive. Harmon brandished a handgun and demanded money before running from the area.
There were no injuries reported during either incident.
Harmon was positively identified during the preliminary investigation and was charged with the following:
-Robbery (two counts)
-Abduction (three counts)
-Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony (three counts)
-Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
-Wearing a mask in public

Harmon remains a fugitive and should be considered armed and dangerous. Although homeless, he is known to frequent Fenner Street, Easy Street and the Fort Worth areas of Norfolk.
