[ARCHIVED] Man arrested for July homicide

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives have charged a 32-year-old man with second degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with the July 30, 2017 homicide. 

One dead, five injured in shooting at a party

Demetrius A. McGregor, 32, of the 8600 block of Kearsarge Place has been arrested for the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Maxie Mock.

Around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2017 police and paramedics responded to the 1500 block of Azalea Garden Road and discovered Mock dead at the scene. 

McGregor was arrested today in Norfolk without incident. He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
