NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A man was rushed to a local hospital Wednesday evening in Norfolk after being seriously injured in a shooting.
Around 8:35 p.m., dispatchers received a gunshot disturbance call in the 500 block of Walker Avenue. When police and paramedics arrived, they found a 25-year-old man outside suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives have not released any further details, or motive surrounding the shooting; however, they encourage anyone with information to all the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
