Whether you are coming to transact business, relax in our lounge area and use free public WiFi or view historic photos from the Sargeant Memorial Room, welcome to Norfolk City Hall.

Offices of City Council, City Clerk, City Attorney, Real Estate Assessor, Commissioner of Revenue, City Treasurer, DMV-Select, and the Development Permit Services Center. See Directory Link.  

Open to public during business hours. Lobby seating available for carry-in lunches or waiting. Free public WiFi on 1st floor.

Information brochures available in the lobby. Adjacent to Civic Plaza Tide light rail stop and served by HRT buses. Paid parking garage across the street. Overflow parking available at Harbor Park or Commercial Place garage.

HOURS OF OPERATION:  8:30 am - 5:00 pm and during Council meetings and other activities. NOTE: The Commissioner of Revenue and Treasurer close at 4:45 pm; the Development Services Center (permits) closes at 4:30 pm. These three offices are located in the lobby.
