The establishment of art therapy as a unique and publicly accepted therapeutic approach only took place recently, in the mid-20th century. This is a juried exhibition, and was co-curated by Gallery Manager and Center Curator, Amanda Bradley, and exhibition juror and artist Matthew Bernier. The call reached 28 states. 80 artists submitted for a total of 295 submissions. The juror and center curator selected 62 pieces from 46 artists from 21 states!
