NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting that has left a 39-year-old man dead.
On September 7, 2022, around 2:10 p.m., police responded to the 8000 block of Diggs Road for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found Alexander J. Hayes, of Norfolk, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Hayes was transported to the hospital for treatment where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Detectives have not released a motive or suspect information surrounding this incident.
