The Virginia Department of Health has paused the Pharmacy Precision Clinic (PPC) program due to an unexpected funding change. The PPC program offers financial support to participating Pharmacies that provide free COVID-19 vaccinations in partnership with local health districts. The Military Circle Mall community vaccination clinic in Norfolk Virginia, is funded by the PPC program. This program has proven vital in providing COVID-19 vaccinations in various neighborhoods in partnership with community-based organizations.
The Virginia Department of Health is pursuing alternative sources of funding and anticipates resuming community vaccinations when a funding source is identified.
