Job Fair on Saturday, February 8, at Crossroads K-8 School in Norfolk

NORFOLK, VA – Norfolk Public Schools invites all teachers who want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of diverse students to learn more about teaching opportunities at a Job Fair on Saturday, February 8, at Crossroads K-8 School in Norfolk. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and panel interviews at 9 a.m. 

Norfolk Public Schools representatives will be inviting highly qualified candidates to join the Norfolk schools family where they will find a multi-layered community of support that includes experienced mentors, robust professional development, and upward mobility. Representatives will specifically be looking for teachers with experience in: 

  • Art
  • Elementary education (K-5)
  • English
  • Foreign language
  • History/social science
  • Music
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Special education
  • School psychology
  • Speech pathology

Teachers should bring a completed application that can be found at www.npsk12.com/hr and copies of supporting credentials including a valid teaching license, transcripts, assessment scores, recent summative or student teaching evaluations, and references.
