[ARCHIVED] Man Sustains Serious Injuries in East Charlotte Street Shooting

Update 03/20/2015:

The 34-year-old man in the East Charlotte Street shooting is expected to survive his injuries, and is now listed in stable condition.

Previous Release 03/19/2015:

Norfolk Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call shortly after 1:30 pm today for a gunshot victim in the 800 block of East Charlotte Street. Once police arrived they could not locate a victim. However, a few minutes later, a 34-year-old man arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appears to be, at this time, serious injuries consistent of a gunshot wound.
