Team Norfolk,
Please see the morning briefing from the NWS. The forecast remains pretty consistent with yesterday afternoon. The expected snowfall still falls within the 4-6” range with the worst-case (1 in 10 chance) around 12”. Also, the arrival of the snow looks to be moved ahead just a bit, now around 8-10 pm tomorrow night. The frigid temps to arrive during the overnight Friday night hours and the Saturday morning high tide also has not changed.
Today we have a Policy Call scheduled at 3:30 pm; please send a summary of your preparatory actions by 3 pm. We also have a VDEM / NWS / VDOT call at 4 pm.
Thank you!
Jim Redick, Director
Norfolk Emergency Preparedness and Response
