This is a message to inform you of some potentially hazardous weather. Please find attached the latest decision brief from our friends with the National Weather Service in Wakefield.
As you take a moment to review the Hourly Graph, you’ll see rain is forecasted to start falling in some measurable amount during the morning hours tomorrow (Thursday) and is likely to stay with us throughout the day, evening, throughout the night into Friday afternoon. Friday morning is also when the winds are expected to increase with gusts peaking around 38mph.
As you’ll see in the Tidal Graph, coastal flooding should also be expected around rush hour Friday and during the overnight hours. Presently, we’re forecasted to reach the ‘Minor’ flood level (which will result in nuisance ponding on roadways) and a bit higher during the night.
Unless the NWS impact area changes, this should be an event with no significant impacts (unless you’re having to stand in line outside at Macy’s to receive your first vax shot Thursday and Friday…); nonetheless, we will continue to monitor and keep you posted.
