WINTER YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Ages: 5-12 • Recreation basketball co-ed league for youth. Participants must be Norfolk Residents and obtain a valid recreation card. Fees will cover the participant’s registration, jersey, and end-of-year award trophy. The season starts Tuesday, January 3, 2023. 

VOLUNTEER COACHES REGISTRATION

Ages: 18 & Up • Volunteer coaching opportunity with our recreation youth basketball program. All volunteer coaches must perform background checks and other prerequisites under the enforcement of the Norfolk Athletics Office. Registering does not guarantee a position as a coach, but individuals will be contacted to perform the clearing process that starts with the background check. Coaches must adhere to all department guidelines and league regulations. Coaching badges are required at all practices and games. Teams are allowed up to 2 coaches.

PICNIC SHELTER RENTALS  

Resident Fee: $125 (Full Day) or $100 (Half Day)

Non-Resident Fee: $250 (Full Day) or $200 (Half Day)

Shelters for Reservation at the Following Parks:  Barraud Park, Lafayette Park, Lakewood Park, Northside Park & Poplar Hall Park

PICNIC SHELTER RENTALS • Reservations can be placed at the Norfolk Office from January through November.
