Central Brambleton Retention Ponds Project

As part of the City of Norfolk's continuing improvement to the stormwater infrastructure, the Central Brambleton Avenue Stormwater Pond is slated for an upgrade. Enhancements to the pond will include removal of the small peninsulas from each end of the existing pond and a new, second pond will be added. This will provide additional water storage. Additionally, pumps will be added to allow the city to reduce the amount of water in both ponds before it rains to make space for any predicted stormwater runoff.
