CARES Project

The CARES (Career and Readiness Employment Services) Project provides services to assist Norfolk residents who have been impacted by COVID-19 by layoff, furlough, work hour/pay reduction, or termination.  Project participants will receive assistance in finding employment or gain technical skills through vocational training.  The goal of this project is to assist qualified Norfolk residents to re-enter the workforce at or above their income level prior to the economic downturn.
