2021 NBN Mini-Conference

For many, 2020 drew a line in the sand to not turn the clock back to 2019, but to step forward into a better future.  On July 25-27, join other Norfolk neighbors in stepping forward to Tell a New Story about Norfolk's neighborhoods at our mini-NBN Conference, Mermaid Tales 2021.  You can register for one, two or all three of the activities.

NBN Conference Mixer (in-person) - Sunday, July 25, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Neighborhood Services is re-launching in-person events with a bang!  Enjoy exclusive access at the Pagoda (265 W. Tazewell St.) for an evening of networking, music, food, and a conference kick-off from keynote speaker, Marla Newman, Director of Community Development in Winston-Salem.  Cost is $10 per person.  Registration for the mixer is limited and closes at 5:00 p.m. on July 21st.  Click on the link to view more information and register.

Session #1 (virtual):  Build the Block Beyond Your Boundaries - Monday, July 26, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  Get tips on how Norfolk residents are partnering with local businesses to shape their neighborhood story.  This virtual session is free.  Click on the link to view more information.
