Great American Cleanup
The Great American Cleanup is a three-month outreach program aiming to raise awareness on environmental issues across the country through community service events. During this period, Keep Norfolk Beautiful, along with all Keep America Beautiful affiliates, will host events designed to create LITTER FREE cities, towns, neighborhoods, and streets!

March 1st through May 31st, Keep Norfolk Beautiful will partner with local organizations and City partners for three months of cleanup and beautification events.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event - April 17th, 2021
Keep Norfolk Beautiful will host the annual drive through, drop-off, special collection event for Norfolk residents. Bring documents for on-site shredding, household hazardous waste, and plastic grocery bags and packaging wrap for free, and safe, disposal.

Clean The Bay Day - June 5th, 2021
In partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Keep Norfolk Beautiful and volunteer leaders host cleanups throughout the city on the first Saturday in June. The goal: Clean the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. We look forward to seeing you this year!

The International Coastal Cleanup - September 21, 2020 through October 16, 2020
Keep Norfolk Beautiful and volunteer site leaders host cleanups throughout the city during this two month event. But, this isn’t your average cleanup. Volunteers will use tracking sheets to record the types and amount of litter found. Volunteer leaders will be needed to host a cleanup at one of the 11 sites that are cleaned every year.
