Alarm System Permits
City of Norfolk Alarm System Ordinance section 33 to 96 requires all alarm system users to obtain a permit to operate an alarm system within the city of Norfolk. Alarm permits can be downloaded or obtained at the Police Operations Center:

Cost
There is no cost for the Alarm User Permit (PDF). There is a charge however to operate as an Alarm Company Operator and the application for that can also be downloaded or obtained from the Police Operations Center.
