Neighborhood Quality is entrusted with the responsibility of enforcing the Virginia Uniformed Statewide Building Code, International Property Maintenance Code, and related city ordinances for the protection of public health, safety, and welfare.
See the difference between the three properties? The second property is not very attractive, but legally up to code which is all inspectors can enforce. Neighborhood Development encourages neighborhoods to aim beyond basic code enforcement by aiming for higher neighborhood standards.
