The Towing and Recovery Division provides towing service by responding to requests from the Norfolk Police, Fire and Health Departments, and Parking and Code Enforcement personnel.  To report a nuisance or abandoned motor vehicle, or to inquire about a towed vehicle, call Norfolk CARES at 664-6510.

Abandoned vehicles are usually auctioned every other Thursday.  Auctions are held at 1371 Hanson Avenue, Norfolk, and begin at 10:30 am.  Viewings begin at 10:00 am.  Contact the Towing Division for additional information.

Look for auction vehicle listings below, or in the Virginia Pilot's Hampton Roads Section. Auctions are usually held on two-week intervals.  The listing for the next auction will be posted about three days before the auction.
