Streets.

The division repairs and maintains 2,193 lane miles of City roadways (including patching and resurfacing pavement), 1,225 miles of curbs, 968 miles of sidewalks, grading of shoulders and medians, and snow and ice control.

The division is also responsible for the maintenance of 50 bridge structures, such as bridges, underpasses, overpasses; and of waterfront structures, including several seawalls, bulkheads, and 34 jetties.

Crews from Streets and Bridges perform asphalt, concrete, shoulder/grading and resurfacing services in the City. For example, the division installs handicap ramps, removes graffiti, and repairs potholes.

Report-A-Pothole

The Division of Streets and Bridges repairs paved streets where potholes have appeared.  When reporting a pothole, you will need the address where the pothole appears or a cross street location, your name, and a daytime phone number.  Contact information is needed to help clarify the location of the pothole.  Potholes are usually corrected within 10 days of being reported.  Please follow the Report-A-Pothole link above to report a pothole.
