The division repairs and maintains 2,193 lane miles of City roadways
(including patching and resurfacing pavement), 1,225 miles of curbs,
968 miles of sidewalks, grading of shoulders and medians, and snow
and ice control.

The division is also responsible for the maintenance of 50 bridge
structures, such as bridges, underpasses, overpasses; and of waterfront
structures, including several seawalls, bulkheads, and 34 jetties.

Crews from Streets and Bridges perform asphalt, concrete, shoulder/grading
and resurfacing services in the City. For example, the division installs
handicap ramps, removes graffiti, and repairs
potholes.

Report-A-Pothole
The Division of Streets
and Bridges repairs paved streets where potholes have appeared. When
reporting a pothole, you will need the address where the pothole appears
or a cross street location, your name, and a daytime phone number. Contact
information is needed to help clarify the location of the pothole. Potholes
are usually corrected within 10 days of being reported. Please
follow the Report-A-Pothole link above to report a pothole.
