As a tradition, cars may park on NON-CURBED medians along the route that are not marked off by police tape or no parking signage.
Norfolk Police will tow cars parked illegally along the parade route.
On-street parking is available on most of the adjacent blocks along the parade route.

Please be mindful of the increased pedestrian, bicycle and motor traffic along and adjacent to the parade route. Be EXTRA cautious of children and pets. Expect crowds and give yourself plenty of time to park safely. Don't forget to lock your vehicles and leave valuables at home.
Don't push your luck by drinking and driving! Be sure to call a taxi or ride share to get you home safely.
It's bad luck to leave parade trash behind! Please pack a trash bag with your parade gear or look out for Keep Norfolk Beautiful volunteers who will be handing them out during the parade.
Please be sure to bag your trash and dispose of it properly and don't forget to recycle your bottles and cans.
PRO TIP: You can place your bagged and tied trash bags next to any of our "PARADE RIGHT OV" signs and our Waste Management crews will collect and dispose properly.
