this week’s featured cats and dogs from our city shelter

Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center is pleased to bring you this week’s featured cats and dogs from our city shelter.

Please, help us make animal adoption Norfolk’s first option! Together, we can do great things for Norfolk’s 4-legged citizens!

Dame Judy: Pet ID 1002-0200 - Adopt a catDame Judy: Pet ID 1002-0200

Tabby - Grey [Mix]:  Dame Judy has gorgeous markings, somewhere between grey tabby and torbie, but lighter.  She is about 2 years old.  Coming more out of her shell ever day, Dame Judy now likes being in the play pen and with other calm cats like Milton.

Ooshabooboo: Pet ID 0912-5013 - Adopt a catOoshabooboo: Pet ID 0912-5013

Calico:  Don't be fooled by the stereotype - Ooshabooboo is no Calico diva.  She is about 2 years old and laid-back but VERY playful.  She loves people but is not sure about other cats.  Oosh has been with us since December, and we really want her to find a forever family.  Please come meet her soon.

Juliett: Pet-ID 1003-0030 - Adopt a dogJuliett: Pet-ID 1003-0030

Black Labrador Retriever:  Owner surrender, good with kids, has never been housetrained but is very smart, available NOW.

Seamus: Pet ID 1002-7018 - Adopt a dogSeamus: Pet ID 1002-7018

Jack Russell Terrier [Mix]:  Stray, 5 yrs. old, 15 lbs., available March 5th.

As an open admission facility, NACC cannot turn away animals.  As a result, space is always a concern.  Your adoption truly saves a life not just for the animal you adopt, but for the one you then free up a space for.  Help us help more of Norfolk’s homeless animals!
