The Norfolk Animal Care Center would like to take time to give a huge “THANK YOU” to any local organizations willing assist in helping us to find homes of our animals. We understand that companion animal overpopulation is a serious problem in our area, and we appreciate your support.

Our rescue policy is simply:

• Provide all necessary information for the Rescue Organizations.

• Proof of Sterilization is required for all animals transferred out of our facility.
• Notification of disposition of the animal (i.e. adopted, fostered or deceased).

We would love to hear from your organization about any areas you think we need to focus our energy on to help facilitate more effective transfers. Thank you for your time and for helping us helps the animals of Norfolk, Virginia.
